HONR 1300  Honors Seminar

This team-taught, interdisciplinary course introduces students to the Honors program and to academic resources offered at the university. The course topic rotates each semester.
Prerequisites: Admission to the Honors program.
Restrictions: Graduate level students may not enroll.
HONR 3300  Advanced Honors Seminar  
Credits: 3 (3-0-0)
  
This advanced course engages students with a topic or problem through experiential learning or inquiry-based projects. It may be cross-listed with any upper-level course subject to the approval of the University Honors Program. May be repeated once as the topic changes. Honors students with sophomore standing or above may enroll in the course.
Prerequisites: Admission to the Honors Program + sophomore standing at start of semester in which course is offered.
Restrictions: Enrollment limited to students with a semester level of Sophomore.Graduate level students may not enroll.

HONR 4000  Honors Capstone

The Honors Capstone is a portfolio course that is required in an Honors student’s final semester. Students complete their Honors E-Portfolio, write a summative reflection essay, and give an oral presentation based on their portfolio. Honors students with senior standing may enroll in the course. TSI Restriction(s): Reading, Writing, and Math
Prerequisites: Approval of the Honors Program.
Restrictions: Students with a semester level of Freshman or Sophomore may not enroll.Graduate level students may not enroll.
