This program is designed to develop school-level transformative leaders. Successful completion of the Principal Certification Program and passing the Texas Examinations of Educator Standards for the Principal as Instructional Leader (TExES 268) promotes students to be recommended for the State of Texas Principal as Instructional Leader certification.
Candidates seeking Principal Certification must earn a minimum of 24 semester credit hours as follows:
